New CFA President, Stephanie Nava, the Executive Board, and the CFA Chairs were installed in their new 2019-2020 school year positions at a special luncheon held at the Rose Tea Garden in Pasadena. Outgoing CFA president Stephanie Chang presented a check to Head of School Dr. Amy Patzlaff for $137,000 worth of proceeds from CFA events which the school gratefully received. She then gave a moving speech summarizing the CFA’s accomplishments from the current school year and thanked all the parents who went above and beyond to decorate, serve lunches, plan events, and to make a million other things run on campus.
Stephanie Chang also presented a gift bag to the new president filled with useful items designed to support President Nava’s term. She then capped off her gift presentation to Stephanie Nava with two of the most coveted items a parent at Clairbourn can possess—the cell phone number for Physical Plant Supervisor Ryan Morehouse and ownership of the Reserved Parking Space to be used by the CFA President for the entire school year. (Every parent at Clairbourn is an automatic member of the Clairbourn Families Association (CFA), and parents are encouraged to volunteer and participate in CFA chair and leadership positions to further the mission of the school. In the Fall of 2019, the first CFA meeting will hold a volunteer fair where parents can learn about CFA activities, chairing events, and moving into leadership positions. See you there!)
